I'm starting to think those two subordinates from the dragon lance group are useless on their own. their leader's got spunk and can stand his ground, despite how off-putting his insecure attitude is. And trick spider evolving to "trickster" spider? did the writer run out of ideas or is being less imaginative?

I liked how Amanda wasn't serious about making Fran call her Mama. She was only teasing the whole time, and she knows Fran has strong memories of her own mother in her heart that she doesn't want to take away. Amanda is gradually gaining Fran's trust after their one-on-one battle. They really did a much better job of making her appear more overly affectionate and less creepy in this episode.
